The "perfect storm" of Poison/"Vitamin A" problems from dairy products

There is are many reasons why dairy is considered a "perfect storm" of Poison/"Vitamin A" problems, and it is NOT simply limited to its Vitamin A content!

What you are about to see below is an example of how foods are picked (or not picked) to be in my Poison/"Vitamin A" and Glyphosate Detox Program.  The actual carotenoid and retinoid content are important, absolutely, AND other factors also contribute greatly.  People who try to do this process on their own may make major mistakes that "shoot themselves in the foot", because this is NOT as easy as just Googling "[food] Vitamin A content".  If it were that easy, I'd just be telling people to do that!

Let's just start with an observation.  There are SO MANY health approaches all throughout history that advocate getting all (or nearly all) dairy out of the diet, because it has been observed over and over again that dairy is generally NOT a healthy food.  Many people have noticed that when they get all (or nearly all) the dairy out of their lives that many of their health issues lessen or disappear entirely.  No, I'm not going to debate all the A1/A2, unfortified/fortified, raw/pasteurized, and other small points with people, these are mostly arguments put forth by the people and industries desperate to have people continue consuming dairy.  I am going to stick with the things that are in ALL dairy, so save the minutiae for other places that ignore the forest for the trees.

All dairy that contains fat contains Poison/"Vitamin A" and Vitamin D.  This is a given.  I don't advise consuming either of these things in general.  In the US, all fat-free, skim, low- or reduced-fat dairy is required to be fortified with Poison/"Vitamin A" and Vitamin D (both are terrible ideas).  I can tell you from my own observations that the amount of Poison/"Vitamin A" in a serving of fortified low-fat milk was higher (10% RDA) than the Poison/"Vitamin A" level in UNfortified whole milk (6% RDA)!

Glyphosate/Roundup is going to be in all dairy, organic or notNon-organic conventional dairy cows are fed tons of glyphosate-soaked grain, and it is actually measurably affecting their health.  Glyphosate has been found in the air, rainwater, and soil all around the world...which means that even grass-fed dairy cows are going to be eating glyphosate in their grass.  Glyphosate at very low concentrations stops the detoxification process of Poison/"Vitamin A" in the liver, thus leading eventually to Poison/"Vitamin A" toxicity.  One MUST eat as organic as possible with ALL animal products of all types to minimize this specific issue.

Next, we have the major proteins in milk that have ALSO been shown to carry Poison/"Vitamin A" around!  This includes the two main dairy proteins, CASEIN and WHEY:

  • Binding of vitamin A with milk α- and β-caseins. - "Casein plays an important role in stabilizing retinol which does not degrade over time or during heat treatments. In vivo, when the retinol availability is measured by the vitamin A content in the liver, acid casein somewhat increases the retinol efficiency and, even more so, the retinal efficiency."
  • Interaction between casein and vitamin A during food processing. - "The binding sites of retinol and retinoic acid with milk α- and β-caseins were determined [...] Structural analysis showed that retinoids bind caseins via both hydrophilic and hydrophobic contacts [...] Molecular modelling showed different binding sites for retinol and retinoic acid on α- and β-caseins with more stable complexes formed with α-casein. [...] Caseins might act as carriers for transportation of retinoids to target molecules."
  • Interaction of beta-lactoglobulin with retinol and fatty acids and its role as a possible biological function for this protein: a review. - "***beta-Lactoglobulin is the major whey protein in the milk*** of ruminants and some nonruminants, such as pigs and horses. [...] this protein has been suggested as having a role as a transporter of fatty acids and retinol. This review reassesses the function of beta-lactoglobulin in light of the large amount of information that has accrued in the last few years. In particular, this review concentrates upon studies of the binding of retinol and fatty acids to beta-lactoglobulin, including the binding constants and number of binding sites, the location of the binding sites, and the influence of chemical modifications in the interaction of the protein with both ligands."

So not only does the dairy FAT contain Poison/"Vitamin A", both CASEIN and WHEY PROTEINS also bind to and transport Poison/"Vitamin A" around!   If autoimmunity and diabetes are two conditions that I heavily associate with Poison/"Vitamin A" toxicity, are there any studies linking their consumption to these conditions?  When one knows where to look and what to look for, the answers are easy to find:

Since people are always interested in vanity first, does dairy make people fat?  This is a fun one:

  • Milk is designed for babies.
  • Babies are in the fastest growth stages of their life.
  • Milk is designed to be a HIGH-CALORIE/ENERGY food.
  • Milk is a liquid by design, so it passes through the gut very quickly and doesn't satiate like solid food does. This is why babies get "stuffed" on milk and are hungry two hours later, and how high school kids can do the GOMAD diet (Gallon Of Milk A Day, plus 3 meals a day) to bulk up...because the milk moves through them so fast.
  • Milk is designed to be an amazing "growth food", by being both high-energy and low satiety, and also by containing hormones.  That's what babies (of the same species as the milk provider, of course!) need at that time.
  • So, we have an amazingly high-energy, low satiating, hormone-containing, designed-to-stimulate-maximum-growth-rate food.
  • If you are a full-grown adult, and you're done "growing up", and you continue to consume a "growth food" like dairy...what is the ONLY direction your body has left to GROW?  If you can't grow UP, then you can only grow OUTWARD (aka get fatter). Does the world have OBESITY issues?
  • Also, does the world have any problems with diseases associated with uncontrolled tissue growth?  Have you heard of CANCER, maybe?  Do you think a cross-species "growth food" that is being consumed long post-weaning, might be influencing this process?
  • The above is just plain and simple logic.  It shouldn't need a ton of research behind it.

Let's get some more into the historical value of reduced-fat dairy products.  What were they used for?

Pure and Modern Milk: An Environmental History since 1900

Before World War II, skim milk—a byproduct of butter processing—was not sold in stores, but either discarded or fed to chickens, hogs, and calves as a protein-rich replacement for costlier animal feed. The development of skim milk as an attractive product for sale only came about because dairy producers, emboldened by their success selling milk to Uncle Sam during World War II, seized on postwar marketing opportunities to sell what once had been hog slop to housewives and families.

and "From dogs and cats to pigs and chickens, farmers have long fed leftover skim milk to their animals. Many use skim milk as an aid in fattening their pigs."

Low-fat milk is pig slop, and fattening pig slop at that. This is the historical evidence of the health and nutrition value of reduced fat dairy.

Cow dairy has 4X as much calcium as human milk.  Humans are not cows.  We do NOT need the excessive calcium from cow dairy, that is propaganda that you have been sold by the dairy industry.  Where do cows get all that calcium from again?  GRASS. VEGETATION. Why don't grown cows need to drink milk to get their calcium!?!?  The level of logic denial and ignorance that people spew about dairy is astonishing.  Both the Vitamin A and Vitamin D that is in all dairy, combined with the high calcium content, leads to excess calcium in the human system.  Too much calcium in the system does NOT lead to stronger bones, but it does lead to calcification of the body's soft tissues, disease, and death.

Cows put cow-specific proteins and cow hormones in their milk.  Humans put human-specific proteins and hormones in their milk.  It makes sense that we would do best with our own species' proteins and hormones, and not so well with the proteins and hormones from a different species.  Let me give an example of cross-species hormone problems.  Let's talk about the disaster of Premarin for women's hormone replacement therapy.  Premarin is short for PREgnant MAre uRINe.  Pharmaceutical companies collected pregnant horse piss, isolated the estrogens, then put them in pills for human women to take.  What do you think happened when cross-species hormones were given?

Premarin Cancer & Heart Disease Lawsuit

Premarin combines three forms of estrogen derived from sodium salts of hormones found in horse urine: sodium estrone sulfate (50%), sodium equilin sulfate (15-25%), and sodium equilenin sulfate (25-35%). The sodium estrone sulfate is the most active component of the combination, and the human body can easily convert it into estradiol. Once metabolized, the estradiol replaces the patient’s diminished hormones, thereby alleviating her menopause symptoms.

Premarin Side Effects Include Cancer and Heart Disease

Studies have shown that Premarin causes three types of cancer, endometrial cancer (cancer of the membrane of the uterus), breast cancer, and lung cancer. According to the Premarin drug label, users can develop endometrial cancer at a rate of two to 12 times greater than non-users. The longer a woman stays on Premarin, the more the likelihood of her developing cancer increases. Women who use the drug for less than one year do not show much of an increased risk, but those who take it for five to ten years are 15 to 25 times more likely to develop endometrial cancer. The risk persists eight to 15 years after use.

Have the hormones in dairy been linked to causing human disease?  Yes:

Hormones in Dairy Foods and Their Impact on Public Health - A Narrative Review Article

During the last couple of years, increasing body of evidence are indicating another property of hormones in dairy products as possible impact on human health including the role of some estrogens and insulin-like growth factor-1 in initiation and provoking of breast, prostate and endometrial tumours.
[...]
In this review we concentrated on several aspects of presence of hormones in dairy foods with special emphasis on cow’s milk as a major source of consuming milk for humans especially for children.
[...]
The collected data from other researchers and our own data are indicating that the presence of steroid hormones in dairy products could be counted as an important risk factor for various cancers in humans.
[...]
Our gathered data in this review paper
may suggest more sophisticate analytical detection methods for oestrogens determination and also could be considered as a remarkable concern for consumers, producers and public health authorities.

Hey, cross-species hormone ingestion--horse or cow--causing increased cancer!  When logic and research combine to point in the same direction, you might want to listen.

Humans do NOT need to suckle from another animal, for any reason, for proper nutrition.  Humans are weaned off HUMAN breastmilk.  There is absolutely no reason we need to continue having a middleman suckling off another species for us.  For anyone to suggest that humans NEED another species' milk in any way for health is LUDICROUS.

Can people use dairy as a food?  Sure, humans are amazingly adaptable and are omnivores by design.  "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should."  There are many types of gasoline for cars.  Does this mean that you can just put any type in your car and expect optimal performance?  NO.

Milk consumption is going down.  Maybe people are figuring out the problems with it over time?

Foods on my Poison/"Vitamin A" and Glyphosate Detox Program are evaluated in MANY different ways, it's not simply the Poison/"Vitamin A" content.
