When I say Poison/"Vitamin A", what exactly do I mean?
Quote from Dr. Garrett Smith on November 6, 2018, 10:26 pmI mean anything that is in the retinoid family or carotenoid family, naturally-occurring or synthetic.
Retinoids: retinol, retinal, retinoic acid, retinyl esters
Carotenoids:
- Carotenes: alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, gamma-carotene, delta-carotene, epsilon-carotene, zeta-carotene
- Xanthophylls: astaxanthin, beta-cryptoxanthin, canthaxanthin, fucoxanthin, lutein, zeaxanthin, violaxanthin, neoxanthin
Synthetic/pharmaceutical: All-trans-retinoic-acid (ATRA), Tretinoin (aka Accutane, Retin A, Avita, Atralin Renova), Tazarotene (aka Tazorac, Avage), Adapalene (Differin), Ziana (tretinoin plus antibiotic clindamycin), Tri-Luma (tretinoin with skin bleaching hydroquinone and steroid fluocinolone), topical versions of Isotretinoin (Isotrex and Isotrexin), HPR (Hydroxypinnacolone Retinoate), injectable Aquasol A
I mean any and all of these. Based on what I have seen and read, they all cause problems and are all additive on each other. You may want to fall into the Appeal to Nature fallacy, where one wants to believe that "something is good because it is natural, or bad because it is unnatural", because they want to defend their use of cod liver oil supplements, eating liver, or eating large amounts of high-carotenoid fruits and vegetables. Based on the clients I've had to fix based on known histories of taking these things, I highly disagree and will present evidence of this all throughout this blog-forum.
"Vitamin A" is not a vitamin at all, it is not a "vital amine" as the word intends. It is a poison to humans and animals, a part of the warfare that plants (prey) wage on the animal kingdom (predators). Make sure to read Grant Genereux's first free e-book, "Extinguishing the Fires of Hell" (all three books are in their own thread in this forum for easy download, or you can go to his blog here) for the full story about how the absolutely bungled "discovery of Vitamin A deficiency" was in all reality a Vitamin A poisoning...and nutritional science has run with that mistake ever since.
Along with Grant, I now consider it my mission to fix this mistake. In the process, we may have uncovered the root cause to much of the civilized world's chronic disease.
